Sail away, kill off the hours

February 7th, 2010

Mikey dug a path 3/4 of the way up our driveway today. Maybe tomorrow we’ll make it to the top, dig out the car, and meander into town for important things like beer and cheddar cheese and a post office run. Meanwhile there is still lots of all of this:

Finished Hazel scarf.

Begun Mama scarf – with cables! (I figure if I keep knitting scarves we’ll either a.) be super toasty or more likely b.) it will stop snowing, like the way it never seems to rain if you’ve actually got an umbrella with you.)

Also, my car seat decision may soon be decided. The February Britax sale is on!

Listening: Tom Petty
(I am) Reading: The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox
(Hazel is) Reading: Eric Carle’s Animals, Animals
Working on: blanket; scarf

Then I guess we’re going to knock our heads together, because you knit SWEATERS, lady!!

(Hazel is still rocking hers in every laundry cycle by the way – hasn’t outgrown it yet! :)
