I just bought a $279.99 carseat for $131.83
February 16th, 2010A Britax Marathon for $131.83, kids! I am practically trembling from the excitement. All of this research was hard work! Here is how you make it happen for this particular seat with a brand new account at diapers.com (has to be brand new):
- go to the site and add the carseat you want to your shopping cart. Your shipping is already free. Call customer service at 1-800-342-7377 and ask them to price match the 20% off coupon code CARSEAT20 on babycarseats.com, good through February 28th. NOW – this code technically does not apply to already on sale items on babycarseats.com (which all Britax seats are), BUT I told the guy that someone got it price-matched just yesterday (not a lie, found it on a forum) and he said “well that’s not fair” and did it for me anyway. Typically they will price match any website’s price, so you can make this 20% off work with any car seat that is not already on sale at babycarseats.com for sure, and *maybe* with one that IS on sale if you get a nice diapers.com rep.
- They will ask for your email address and update your shopping cart for you over the phone – you’ll see the discount they apply upon refreshing your page. When you are done on the phone with them go add a cheap package of diapers to your cart, like Luvs for $7.99. These end up being free and allow you to use the codes “plus10pct” and the referral code “EMIL0816″ from me (again, only on a brand new account, and this has to be on diapers). The former gets you an extra 10% off and the latter gets you $10.00 off.
- Log in to bing.com and then go to diapers.com through there, to your shopping cart. This will get you an extra 10% cash back through Bing.
- Now, since you have happily spent so much money, they will give you a $14.97 rebate in lieu of a free magazine subscription.

I called diapers.com to price match with babycarseats.com and they said that the code doesn’t work for the boulevard (sale items) and I said that my friend did it and the guy said well, that representative made a mistake…boo!! I’ll try to call again!
