If they can't restore any more and you don't want it to happen again, you should be able to make a backup yourself through your control panel (I'm assuming you're using CPanel) that you can restore yourself if it were to ever happen again. I was able to move my blog from one hosting provider to another through this method. I’m guessing your MySQL database is was either lost or corrupted and a backup was restored from November.
